Knox Basketball has carefully reviewed the latest updates from Basketball Victoria and the State Government and has found no reason to alter plans in regard to competition and stadium re-opening.
However, following Premier Dan Andrews’ update today, KBI would like to stress the importance of people living in the following postcodes remaining in lockdown: 3038, 3064, 3047, 3060, 3012, 3032, 3055, 3042, 3021, 3046.
Throughout our reopening, KBI has placed a great deal of importance on hygiene and sanitation and would like to thank all those who have come through our buildings for maintaining such a great standard. We will continue to request all visitors and players check in via our QR Code’s at entrance, and sanitise all basketballs coming into the building. We ask that everyone maintains social distancing in our buildings wherever possible.
Knox Basketball’s staff have undergone Infection Control Training through the Australian Government Department of Health and are following all experts’ guidelines on stadium sanitation.
Casual shooting at both Knox Basketball Stadium (Boronia) and the State Basketball Centre (Wantirna South) will be reopening this week.
To ensure stadium capacity limits remain low and we continue to follow experts’ advice on sanitation, you are now required to book and pay online for casual shooting.
That can be done via this link: https://www.knoxbasketball.com.au/casual-shooting-bookings/
If you or anyone you live with returns a positive test to COVID-19, please inform Knox Basketball immediately.
