Knox Basketball are happy to announce Dom Linossier as Senior Raiders Men’s Head Coach for the 2020 NBL1 Season. Linossier has worked his way through both Knox’s and Basketball Victoria’s coaching pathways and brings a wealth of experience and success to the role.

Dom currently coaches the Knox Raiders U18 VC Girls, having coached the U16 VC Boys to a VC title in Season 2017/18. His record with Victoria Metro is strong, winning back-to-back National Championships, and a Bronze medal, at Australian Junior Championships over the past three years.

“We’re excited by the talent and potential Dom brings to the table. He comes in with a wealth of knowledge, but also has the ability to grow with our program at the same time,” said Knox Basketball Director of Basketball Operations David Ingham.

“Being a home-grown member of the Knox Basketball family, I am enthusiastic about Dom being at the head of our Senior Men’s Program. I’m sure the rest of our association share this enthusiasm.”

Likewise, Dom is thrilled with the opportunity to lead this group.

“I’d like to thank the Knox Basketball Board, David and Grant, for their support and for the opportunity. I’ve grown up a Raiders fan, watching the likes of CJ Massingale, Sean Carroll and Lester Strong through a period of great success in the SEABL, and it is a true honour to be able to contribute to the next chapter of the club’s vibrant history,” said Linossier.

“A special note in recognition of DMac who has done a stellar job leading the men’s program in recent years. Really looking forward to getting to work and investing further in the pathway for Knox Junior Raiders through to senior basketball.”

Linossier is set to hit the ground running, as he will coach his first game tomorrow night. The Raiders Men will compete against Chinese Basketball Association powerhouse Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the State Basketball Centre. Click here to purchase tickets.
