The Knox Raiders Senior Women are delighted to have Bree Whatman join the team for the 2019 NBL1 season.
“I’m super excited to make the move to Knox this year, the culture of the club is fantastic and we have a great bunch of girls in the team. I respect Zoe so much and can’t wait to see what this year holds for us”
Bree has flown to us from Diamond Valley Eagles where she played in their first SEABL Womens team for the 2018 season. Prior to that, Bree played SEABL Dandenong winning FOUR SEABL Championships! Bree also played in the WNBL Dandenong Ranges team that took the championship win in 2012 and were runners up in 2017.
Knox Raiders Senior Women’s Head Coach Zoe Carr says “It is fantastic to be able to add Bree’s experience and leadership to the group. Despite her age, she has won multiple SEABL championships and understands what it takes to play at this level. She has an incredibly high IQ and consistent 3 point shot. I am excited to see what she will do this season.”
You can catch Bree and the rest of the team in their first game of the inaugural season of NBL1 on Saturday 30th March at State Basketball Centre.
