Marena joins Knox Raiders from Nunawading Spectres where she played in the SEABL Women’s team and won consecutive All SEABL First Team awards in 2017 and 2018.

“I am beyond excited to get involved with the Knox club and community this season, I look forward to working hard and having a successful year with Zoe in the clubs first year playing within the elite league. I know Zoe’s worked tirelessly to put a great bunch of girls together who will play hard for each other and push one another at practice. It’s my first year away from my old club, but I am excited to perform my best wearing a gold Knox jersey!” said Marena.

Marena played her debut WNBL season with Bendigo Bank Spirits in the 2018/19 season after being named as a development player for the Townsville Fire in 2017/18. Her career also saw her play for North Dakota State University Bisons where she averaged a double double in her senior year with 16pts and 11rbs.

Head Coach Zoe Carr says “Marena is known as one of the hardest workers both on and off the floor. Her versatility makes her a nightmare match up and her exciting scoring ability has drawn a crowd wherever she plays. I expect Knox will be the same.”

Marena will take the court on Saturday 30th March in the Knox Raiders Senior Women’s first NBL1 game for the season.
