Knox Basketball are thrilled to welcome the Rowville Rockets into the Knox family. The Rockets will now compete in Knox Basketball’s Junior Domestic Competition from the 2020/21 Summer Season onwards.

They will initially start out with 5 teams, and are looking to grow that number over the coming seasons.

Grant Harrison, Knox Basketball Inc. CEO, says, “It’s such an exciting time to welcome the Rowville Rockets into our association as we kick off with Summer Season 2020/21. I wish to send a warm welcome to all of the Rockets players and their families who will be joining us on court this weekend.”
Harrison continued, “The KBI Board and I, along with our fifteen junior domestic clubs warmly welcome Rowville Rockets Club President; Mr Andrew Kaali & the entire Rockets committee, we look forward to working closely with you in the years to come.”

Who are the Rockets?

Rowville Basketball Club was formed in 1990 to offer the kids of Rowville and Lysterfield a local, community based basketball club.

They started with 5 teams and now have over 100 teams competing in the Dandenong Basketball Association Junior competition. We have teams for both boys & girls from Under 8 through to Under 23.

They are a totally voluntary club, with over 650 children and young adults playing in all grades in the Junior competition.
