Christmas can be a difficult time for families to pay bills as well as buy food and presents. This is especially true for people on a low income as a result of unemployment, reduced work hours, fragile mental or physical health, increasing rent or housing costs, and struggling with the increasing cost of living.

Knox Basketball has once again are supporting Knox Infolink in their Share the Joy Project. This project aims to reach families and individuals in need, with a hamper of festive food and a selection of quality gifts for children easing the pressure for struggling families within the Knox community. 

Knox Infolink is a not-for-profit community organisation providing information on issues such as unemployment, health issues, financial hardship, homelessness and material aid.

Donations of toys and non-perishable foods can be placed beneath the Share the Joy Christmas Trees at Knox Basketball Stadium and State Basketball Centre between now and the 10th December.

(Donations received after this date are still welcomed however will carry over to the 2019 appeal)
