Knox Basketball Association wish to announce that Zoe Carr will no longer be our NBL1 Women’s Head Coach for the upcoming 2020 season.  Zoe has recently taken up a full-time position in Basketball Victoria’s High-Performance area that comes with a hectic schedule.

As Knox’s first NBL1 Women’s Head Coach, the 2019 team led by Zoe will always be fondly remembered as a major success.  In front of a great home crowd, the team was able to get the win against Dandenong in an Elimination Final, before a tough back-to-back draw that saw us fall to Bendigo the following day, in what can only be described as a tough fight right to the end.

“I’d like to thank Zoe for all her hard work throughout this season,” said Knox Basketball CEO Grant Harrison.

“The team was able to come together and play some great basketball right from the start of the season, led strongly by Zoe. I wish Zoe all the best of luck with her career at Basketball Victoria and future coaching endeavours.”

Zoe’s talent as a coach was evident to all who watched our women’s NBL1 action, and any team that may have Zoe leading them in the future would be extremely lucky.
