Knox Basketball is pleased to announce its 2024 Senior Raiders coaching lineup.

Youth League Women

We start off our Youth League Women announcement by thanking outgoing coach Charlie Fyffe on a remarkable season. Our Youth Women in 2023 was filled with a very young squad of players with U18 & U20 players.

This season wasn’t an easy one with such a young group of Women and Charlie was pivotal in his role as coach this year to create an environment for these young women to excel.

We would like to thank Charlie for his incredible contribution to our Youth League program in 2023 and wish him all the best for his future coaching.

We are also pleased to introduce Matt Parkinson as our newly appointed Youth League Women’s head coach with the incredible Hannah Mohan returning as his Assistant Coach for 2024.

Youth League Men

After a 2023 Season that just had our Youth League Men miss out on a finals berth, Gerard Leonard is back for another year as Head Coach of the YLM.

Gerard comes with plenty of experience to the head coaching gig, with multiple years as a Junior Raiders coach, along with the successful 2023 for the Youth Men.

Coming back for 2024 as Assistant Coach to Gerard is Matt Patterson, who will also be taking over the reigns of our Under 20 Mens team for the 2023/24 VJBL Season. Congratulations and welcome back, Matt.

NBL1 Women

Looking to build on her inaugural year as Head Coach of the NBL1 Women’s program, Jess May returns for another year with the Knox Raiders.

We look to take our Women’s program even further in 2024, and Jess is the perfect person to help us see that vision.

Welcome back Jess, we can’t wait to see the team in action next year!!

We’ve locked in COTY Matt Nunn for another year with our NBL1 Mens program in 2024 and we can’t wait to defend our titles as NBL1 South & NBL1 National Champions!
