Knox Raiders Dance Crew – 2026 Auditions

Knox Basketball is excited to launch a brand-new game-night entertainment initiative: the Knox Raiders Dance Crew, bringing high-energy performances to NBL1 home games in 2026.

This new program will be professionally trained by Superhoodz, the official dance crew of Melbourne United and one of Australia’s premier street-dance groups. Crew members will learn from elite performers while representing the Raiders on game night.

PROGRAM INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility

• Participants must be 12 years of age or older at the time of audition.
• Dance experience is preferred but not essential.

Audition Registration

• All dancers must register prior to 30 January 2026
• Only registered individuals may take part in the audition session.

Participants selected through auditions will:

• Be required to attend 10 Knox Raiders NBL1 home games throughout the 2026 season. This information can be found on the NBL1 South website - https://nbl1.com.au/fixtures/south
• Represent the club in a positive and professional manner.
• Attend scheduled rehearsals and training sessions as communicated. These are run by official partners 'Street Dance Studios' - Home to Hoodz Academy - https://www.streetdancestudios.com.au/
• Those who are successful in their audition will then be provided a schedule with training options and rehersals in which they can then decide whether to accept the invitation to be part of the crew.

Uniform & Attire

• Official program uniform will be supplied by Knox Basketball.
• Participants must provide their own white sneakers.

Selection

• Successful Program Participants will be notified via email before 12th of February 2026.

Program Nature

• This initiative is a community performance program.
• Participants are not employees, and no wages or remuneration are provided.
• No employment relationship is created through participation.

Parent/Guardian Permission (Under 18)

• All participants under 18 must have a signed Parent/Guardian Permission & Participation Form to take part in auditions and the program.

Code of Conduct

• Participants must follow all Knox Basketball codes of conduct, venue rules, and instructions from program staff and coaches.
