Many referees start their officiating journey on domestic basketball, not quite knowing where it will take them.  Many people start as referees for fitness, pocket money or to just simply be involved in the game.  Very few realise the pathway that is ahead of them and the opportunities that refereeing can present them with. 

Through our Referee Program at VBRA Knox Branch Incorporated & Knox Basketball Inc, we work closely with our members to develop them.  Our job is to make them not only great referees, but great people.

It is fantastic to see our Award Winning Referee Program again flourishing when it comes to the appointment of Finals Referees in the Big V competition.  There were a total of six VBRA Knox Branch Incorporated referees that were appointed to the Finals Panel, an amazing achievement for each of the respective referees:
