KNOX BASKETBALL × ORN MEMBER GIVEAWAY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. PROMOTION
The promotion is the “ORN Member Giveaway”.
The promoter is ORN Vacations Pty Ltd.
Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
The Promotion opens at 9:00am AEST on Wednesday, 9 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Friday, 18 December 2026 (Promotional Period).
Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.v
3. ELIGIBILITY
Entry is open to current Knox Basketball members who:
- are residents of Victoria, Australia;
b. are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry; and
c. satisfy the entry requirements contained in these Terms and Conditions.
Employees, officers and immediate family members of the Promoter, Knox Basketball, prize suppliers and any agencies directly associated with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
The Promoter may request evidence confirming an entrant’s identity, age, Victorian residency or Knox Basketball membership.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, an eligible entrant must, during the Promotional Period:
- visit the Knox Basketball ORN portal at https://knox.ornholidays.com/
b. complete the required online registration process; and
c. provide all information requested as part of the registration.
Registration and entry into the Promotion are free. No purchase is required.
Only one entry is permitted per person. Duplicate, incomplete, automated, fraudulent or incorrectly submitted entries may be deemed invalid.
Successfully registering for the Knox Basketball ORN portal during the Promotional Period constitutes one entry into the Promotion.
5. PRIZES
The total prize pool is valued at approximately $10,000.
FIRST PRIZE — AUSTRALIAN OPEN EXPERIENCE FOR TWO
Valued at approximately $8,000.
The prize includes:
- three nights’ accommodation for two people at a four-star Melbourne hotel selected by the Promoter;
• daily breakfast for two people; and
• two tickets to three Australian Open 2027 sessions, comprising two night sessions and one day session.
Australian Open 2027 will take place between 11 and 31 January 2027. The exact accommodation dates, hotel, room type, match sessions, seating locations and ticket categories will be determined by the Promoter and are subject to availability and the Australian Open schedule.
Unless expressly stated, the prize does not include flights, transport, transfers, parking, meals other than breakfast, spending money, travel insurance, hotel incidentals or any other expenses.
The winner and their guest must be available to travel and attend on the dates nominated by the Promoter. Both attendees are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from Melbourne and Melbourne Park.
SECOND PRIZE — SOUTH EAST MELBOURNE PHOENIX COURTSIDE EXPERIENCE
Valued at approximately $2,000.
The prize includes two courtside tickets to one South East Melbourne Phoenix home game during the 2026–27 season.
The applicable game, date and seating location will be determined by the Promoter and are subject to ticket availability, the NBL schedule and any venue or ticketing conditions.
Transport, parking, food, beverages and other associated expenses are not included.
THIRD PRIZE — CROWN METROPOL GETAWAY
Valued at approximately $500
The prize includes:
- two nights’ accommodation for two people at Crown Metropol Melbourne; and
• daily breakfast for two people.
The booking is subject to availability and blackout dates determined by Crown Metropol or the prize supplier. Room upgrades, transport, parking, meals other than breakfast, hotel incidentals and additional expenses are not included.
6. PRIZE CONDITIONS
Prize values are correct as at the date of publication and are based on the recommended retail or supplier value.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.
If a prize or part of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to the winner’s written agreement and any applicable legal requirements.
Each winner and their guest must comply with the conditions of entry, ticketing requirements and reasonable directions of the relevant accommodation provider, venue, sporting organisation and prize supplier.
Any amendment requested by a winner will be at the winner’s own expense and is subject to the Promoter’s and supplier’s approval.
The Promoter and Knox Basketball are not responsible for any event, match, session, booking or prize component that is postponed, rescheduled, altered or cancelled for reasons outside their reasonable control.
7. PRIZE DRAW
The draw will take place at 12:00pm AEDT on Monday, 21 December 2026 at Level 1, 18 Thomson St, South Melbourne VIC 3205.
The draw will be conducted electronically or manually using a method that provides every valid entry with a random and equal chance of being selected.
Entrants do not need to be present at the draw.
Three valid entries will be drawn in the following order:
- the first valid entry drawn will receive First Prize;
b. the second valid entry drawn will receive Second Prize; and
c. the third valid entry drawn will receive Third Prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final, subject to applicable law.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be contacted in writing using the email address and/or telephone number supplied during registration within two business days of the draw.
The winners’ first initials and surnames may also be published on the Knox Basketball and/or ORN website and social-media channels.
Winners must respond and provide any requested verification information within the timeframe specified in the winner notification.
9. UNCLAIMED PRIZES
If a winner cannot be identified or contacted after reasonable attempts, is found to be ineligible, does not respond within the required timeframe or cannot accept the prize, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed-prize draw.
Any unclaimed-prize draw will take place at 12:00pm AEDT on Tuesday, 29 December 2026 at the same location and using the same method as the original draw.
Any replacement winner will be contacted in writing within two business days.
10. PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Promoter and Knox Basketball will collect and use entrants’ personal information to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, contact winners and deliver prizes.
Information may be shared with Knox Basketball, ORN and relevant prize suppliers where reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion or provide a prize.
Entrants’ information will not be used for unrelated marketing unless the entrant has separately consented to receive those communications.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s and Knox Basketball’s respective privacy policies.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or engages in conduct intended to undermine the fair operation of the Promotion.
If the Promotion cannot operate as intended because of fraud, technical failure, platform interruption, unauthorised intervention or another cause outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may suspend, modify or cancel the Promotion, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, Knox Basketball and the prize suppliers are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance and use of a prize, except where caused by their negligence or wilful misconduct.
